Position Overview
For over 40 years, we have been one of Connecticut's leading insurance restoration services provider, and we are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our growing team. The Estimator will be responsible for developing accurate, timely scopes for both mitigation and reconstruction projects using Xactimate and conducting quality site inspections.

Key Responsibilities

Review project plans and specifications to prepare detailed estimates.
Utilize Xactimate software for accurate cost estimation.
Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for estimates.
Collaborate with project managers and team leads to clarify project scope and requirements.
Prepare and submit detailed proposals based on estimates.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IICRC standards and pricing trends.
Assist in negotiating with adjusters on scope items.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and adjusters.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Estimator in the insurance restoration industry.
Proficiency in Xactimate software is a must.
Experience with both mitigation and rebuild estimating.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
IICRC Certification is a plus but not required.
Xactimate Level 3 Certification is preferred but not required.
Spanish language fluency is a plus.
