Territory Sales Manager - Midwest

Position Overview
The Territory Sales Manager for the Midwest will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our market presence in the region. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with key accounts, including big box stores and hardware retailers, while also identifying new business opportunities in the lawn and garden sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outside sales and trade show participation, contributing to the overall success of our sales team.

Territory: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois & Iowa

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the Midwest territory.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the retail sector, focusing on big box stores and hardware outlets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Represent the company at trade shows and industry events, promoting our products and services.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective advertising campaigns and promotional materials.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in outside sales, preferably in the retail or hardware sectors.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
Strong understanding of retail operations and customer needs in the lawn and garden industry.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to travel frequently within the Midwest territory.
Live within the territory and the ability to travel extensively up to 80% of the time
Reliable transportation with clean driving record
