Tax Senior

Position Overview
As a Tax Senior, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality tax services to our clients. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing various tax returns, offering strategic tax planning advice, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of tax laws and excellent analytical skills to effectively manage client needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review federal and state tax returns, including 1040, 1041, 1120, and 1120S forms.
Conduct tax research and provide insights on tax planning strategies to clients.
Assist in managing a portfolio of clients and maintain strong client relationships.
Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their development.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Assist with audit inquiries and provide documentation as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification or eligibility preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting, focusing on tax.
Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
Experience with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
