We are a mid-sized, 20 person public accounting firm based in Norwalk, CT. We treat our people very well and have a strong culture built on relationships and mutual success! We are currently hiring for our Tax team and are looking for a Tax Senior or Tax Manager to work onsite in our Norwalk office.

Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee the tax compliance and planning functions for our clients, ensuring that all tax returns are filed accurately and on time while identifying opportunities for tax savings. This role is pivotal in providing strategic tax advice and ensuring adherence to all tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review various tax returns including 1040, 1041, 1120, and 1120S.
Manage the tax compliance process and ensure timely submission of all tax filings.
Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities for clients.
Monitor changes in tax law and assess the impact on clients' tax positions.
Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance on complex tax issues.
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and explain tax strategies and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and tax compliance processes.
Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
