Sr Wastewater Engineer

Position Overview
The Sr Wastewater Engineer will lead engineering projects in the design and management of wastewater treatment facilities. This role focuses on providing innovative solutions to complex environmental challenges while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage wastewater treatment projects from conception through to completion.
Conduct feasibility studies and prepare designs for wastewater treatment plants (WWTP).
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored environmental solutions for industrial clients.
Provide expert consultation on wastewater management and treatment processes.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding wastewater discharge.
Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Review and mentor junior engineers and technical staff in project execution and design methodologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in wastewater treatment engineering, preferably in a consulting environment.
Strong knowledge of WWTP design, operations, and regulatory frameworks.
Experience with AutoCAD and other design software.
Familiarity with various industries such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, semiconductor, metal finishing, and hospital waste management is desirable.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
