Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer specializing in Heavy Civil projects to oversee and manage the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure project objectives are met within budget and on schedule, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate all aspects of heavy civil construction projects from planning through to completion.
Conduct soil mechanics analysis and ensure proper site development practices are implemented.
Perform structural analysis to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
Prepare and review cost estimation and project scheduling to align with budget and timelines.
Utilize AutoCAD for design purposes and ensure accurate blueprint reading.
Oversee contract management to ensure compliance with legal and project specifications.
Implement safety compliance measures to maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct quality assurance checks and manage quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to promote effective communication and project progression.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in heavy construction projects, with a focus on civil engineering applications.
Strong understanding of soil mechanics and site development processes.
Proficiency in structural analysis and design.
Experience with cost estimation and project scheduling techniques.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Strong knowledge of contract management principles.
Demonstrated commitment to safety compliance and quality assurance.
