We are currently seeking a skilled Plumbing Engineer/Designer to join our growing team. Position Overview:
As a Plumbing Engineer/Designer, you will be responsible for creating safe, efficient, and sustainable plumbing systems for a variety of building types. You'll collaborate with architects, mechanical and electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to develop high-quality designs that meet client needs and comply with local codes and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design comprehensive plumbing systems, including domestic water supply, sanitary drainage, stormwater management, and gas distribution systems.
  • Perform hydraulic calculations to determine flow rates, pipe sizes, pressure drops, and system performance metrics.
  • Ensure all designs meet local codes, regulations, and best practices in sustainability.
  • Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and other team members to deliver integrated project designs.
  • Provide accurate documentation and design specifications to support project delivery.
  • Incorporate medical gas system design when applicable (experience in this area is a plus).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in plumbing system design, specifically within the AEC industry.
  • Working knowledge of BIM/Revit is a plus.
  • Experience in designing systems for clients in higher education, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, or government sectors (preferred).
  • Familiarity with hydraulic calculations and plumbing system performance analysis.
  • Medical gas design experience is a plus.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) is desired but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
