Pipefitter

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in various industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of pipefitting techniques, along with the ability to work with various materials and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

Install and assemble pipes and pipe fittings in accordance with specifications and codes.
Inspect and test piping systems for leaks and malfunctions.
Repair and maintain existing piping systems to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings related to piping systems.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar role in an industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques and installation practices.
Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Journeyman certification in pipefitting or related field is preferred.
Experience with welding and fabrication techniques is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
