Manufacturing Engineering Manager - Electronics

Position Overview
Based in South Houston, (near Nassau Bay), we are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineering Manager to oversee and enhance our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading engineering teams, optimizing production efficiency, and ensuring high-quality standards in our manufacturing operations. This is a high-growth role with a great opportunity to build out a team. Must have experience in electrical testing.

*This position will have travel to Calgary, AB for collaboration and meetings. Must be willing to travel to Canada at times.*

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the manufacturing engineering team to achieve production goals and improve efficiency.
Develop and implement engineering designs for manufacturing processes and equipment.
Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure machinery is operating at peak performance.
Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product designs and manufacturing techniques.
Manage high-volume manufacturing operations while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Stay up-to-date with modern test methods for circuit board assembly and radio technologies.

Qualifications

7-10+ years of experience in hands-on electronics manufacturing environment.
Proven experience in manufacturing leadership, high-growth, team build-out.
Strong background in high-volume manufacturing environment and CAD.
Expert in electronics manufacturing and modern circuit boards.
Experience in GPS, Cellular, RF, or gas detection a big plus.
Test methodologies for modern circuit board assembly.
Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Base salary - $110,000 - $140,000 DOE - open to discussion
