Location: REMOTE (we prefer candidates to be in the LA area).

Salary: $150k-$200K/YR

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our legal team, focusing on toxic tort cases, including asbestos and silica litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trial preparation and insurance defense, and will be responsible for representing clients in court and managing all aspects of litigation.

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in court during litigation cases involving toxic torts, asbestos, and silica.
Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and trial briefs.
Conduct thorough legal research to support cases and advise clients.
Engage in settlement negotiations on behalf of clients to reach favorable outcomes.
Collaborate with clients, witnesses, and experts to build strong cases.
Managing multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Provide clients with clear and timely communication regarding case status and developments.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in relevant jurisdictions.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on toxic tort cases.
Strong knowledge of asbestos and silica litigation processes.
Proven trial experience and strong advocacy skills.
Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
