Title: Litigation Attorney

Location: REMOTE (we prefer candidates to be in the LA area).

Salary: $150k-$200K/YR

Experience: Must have at least 5 years of Toxic Torts (asbestos/silica) OR 

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our legal team, focusing on toxic tort cases, including asbestos and silica litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trial preparation and insurance defense, and will be responsible for representing clients in court and managing all aspects of litigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in court during litigation cases involving toxic torts, asbestos, and silica.
  • Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and trial briefs.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support cases and advise clients.
  • Engage in settlement negotiations on behalf of clients to reach favorable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clients, witnesses, and experts to build strong cases.
  • Managing multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Provide clients with clear and timely communication regarding case status and developments.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in relevant jurisdictions.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on toxic tort cases.
  • Strong knowledge of asbestos and silica litigation processes.
  • Proven trial experience and strong advocacy skills.
  • Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
