Job Description: Law and Motion Attorney (Personal Injury Law)

Location: Fully Remote (California-based)
Salary: $100-150k (negotiable)

Position Overview: We are seeking a Personal Injury Attorney specializing in the pre-trial process to join our team. This fully remote role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere within California, providing legal expertise and support to our clients.

This candidate will specialize in writing motions, pleadings, pre-trial documents, and other items in personal injury cases. We need an attorney that is a writing machine who can churn out motions and pre-trial documents quickly and do excellent work. We may also ask them to attend hearings on their motions.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Research and Writing:
- Conduct thorough legal research on personal injury cases.
- Draft, review, and file legal motions, briefs, and other documents.
- Specializes in writing motions, pleadings, pre-trial documents, and other items in personal injury cases.
- Prepare persuasive legal arguments for court hearings and trials.
  - We may also ask the attorney to attend hearings on their motions.
Case Management:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, prioritizing tasks and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
- Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active membership in the California State Bar.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in personal injury law.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a remote work environment.
Proficiency with legal research tools and software.
