Labor & Employment Attorney

We have represented hundreds of clients over the last 50+ years including state and local governments, non-profits and financial institutions. We are a leader in developing state law and have been a part of many bond validation cases.

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Labor & Employment Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of employment law and labor regulations, with a focus on providing legal counsel to businesses and organizations in matters concerning employee rights, union negotiations, and workplace discrimination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal guidance on employment law and labor relations issues.
  • Represent clients in litigation related to employment disputes, including discrimination and wrongful termination cases.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment contracts and agreements.
  • Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Conduct training sessions for clients on employment law topics and best practices.
  • Manage relationships with clients and maintain effective communication throughout legal processes.
  • Research and analyze complex legal issues related to labor and employment law.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Barred in FL
  • 5+ years of experience in labor and employment law.
  • Strong understanding of discrimination laws, union regulations, and labor laws.
  • Experience in litigation and representing clients in court.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
