Mission-Driven Start-Up (Focused on Transforming Small Businesses) Seeks Full-Stack Developer! REMOTE

We are an organization that is focused on simplifying health benefits for SMBs. We are looking to bring on a highly experienced Sr Full Stack Engineer who will take ownership of our core platforms technical roadmap, create actionable technical strategies, and drive measurable results. This is a founding member role so previous experience as a founding member of a startup would be ideal.

What you will be doing:

Define and develop our core platform's technical architecture, setting definite goals and making sure our technology scales with our growth.
Build out and mentor a high-performing engineering team through best practices, code reviews, and setting a high bar for quality and production.
Use agile methodologies and web-based prototyping tools to test and refine technical solutions that enhance user experience.
Execute end-to-end development.

Technologies:

Frontend: Next.js (React, TypeScript)
Backend/Infrastructure: PostgreSQL, AWS, Prisma
Collaboration & Code: GitHub, modern CI/CD practices

What you need:

5+ YOE building large-scale, customer-centric web applications.
Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript with a strong background in React
Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and modern development best practices.
Experience with rapid prototyping and iterative development to quickly validate ideas.
Prior experience in a start-up environment and/or with healthcare tech is a plus!
