Electrical Design Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various building projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to collaborate effectively with other engineers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical systems for commercial and residential buildings
Create detailed electrical schematics using Revit and AutoCAD software
Collaborate with architectural and engineering teams to integrate electrical designs
Ensure compliance with NEC codes and standards during the design process
Conduct load calculations and power distribution analysis
Develop lighting design plans and specifications
Participate in project management tasks, including scheduling and budgeting
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to clarify project requirements
Identify and solve design-related problems during the project lifecycle
Review and approve shop drawings and submittals from contractors

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Proven experience in electrical design engineering within the building systems industry
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software
Strong understanding of power distribution and lighting design principles
Knowledge of NEC codes and standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
Experience with project management and team collaboration
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
