Deduction & Collection Analyst
Position Overview
The Deduction & Collection Analyst will be responsible for managing and resolving customer deductions and collections processes. This role is essential for ensuring timely collections and maintaining strong relationships with customers while minimizing financial risks for the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze customer deductions and determine validity based on company policies and procedures.
- Manage the collections process, including follow-up with customers regarding overdue invoices.
- Collaborate with the billing and accounts receivable teams to ensure accurate invoicing and payment processing.
- Utilize Microsoft Dynamics AX for tracking and reporting on deductions and collections metrics.
- Assist in onboarding new clients by providing necessary training on billing and collection processes.
- Prepare regular reports for management regarding collection activities and outstanding deductions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve disputes and improve overall collections efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in deduction and collections analysis or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of invoicing, accounts receivable, and billing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics AX.
- Experience with highradius or similar accounts receivable software is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Bachelors Degree
