Position: Data Architect Manager
Location: Denver, CO
Salary Range: $165,000 - $170,000
In business for over 40 years, my client is one of the most respected construction companies in the country. We are looking for an experienced data architect/manager with over 5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure and related technologies to lead their data architecture initiative and the data engineering team.
Position And Responsibilities Overview
Design and develop the data architecture strategy using Microsoft Azure.
Design data models, warehouses, and database schemas to support the business.
Oversee integration, migration, and quality initiatives of data and data governance policies.
Optimize data systems for performance and scalability.
Create and manage data governance policies and procedures and monitor data systems for performance and scalability.
Manage the data engineers and analysts, including assigning tasks, setting goals, and working to ensure milestones are met.
Work with stakeholders to understand needs and present data architecture plans that align with those needs.
Implement data privacy measures and access controls and ensure data security and compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or higher in related field.
Experience in a management role is required.
In depth experience, knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Azure data services.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and database design (specifically SQL and NoSQL).
Familiar with cloud database platforms, big data technologies, data science, and data modeling.
