Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee our accounting operations and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy of financial statements, implement effective financial controls, and manage the accounting team. This role is critical in supporting decision-making processes through detailed financial analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
• Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making
• Manage the companys budgeting and forecasting processes
• Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff to foster professional development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in accounting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with WIP (Work in Progress) accounting
• Familiarity with construction and roofing industry finance practices is a plus
• CPA certification is preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks
• Experience with job costing and FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis)
• Advanced skills in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
