Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Civil Defense Attorney with a minimum of 3 years in civil litigation to join our dynamic team in Albany, NY. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, provide strategic legal counsel, and contribute to our firm's tradition of delivering outstanding legal services.

Key Responsibilities

Handle a variety of civil defense litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Develop and implement effective legal strategies tailored to client needs.
Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
Collaborate closely with clients, colleagues, and experts to achieve favorable outcomes.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in New York State.
At least 3 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in defense.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
Commitment to ethical practices and client confidentiality.
