Job Title: AOSP Audio Software Engineer

Location: Fully on-site in Carlsbad, CA

Salary: $145,000-$185,000 + benefits

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced AOSP Audio Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing audio software components for Android Open Source Project (AOSP). This role involves working closely with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless audio performance across devices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain audio software components within the AOSP framework.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement audio Hardware Abstraction Layers (HALs).
Optimize audio performance and quality across various devices and platforms.
Troubleshoot and resolve audio-related issues, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Contribute to the development of audio firmware and drivers as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience with Android development and AOSP.
Strong understanding of Audio HALs and their implementation.
Proficiency in C++ and Java programming languages.
Experience with audio firmware development and ASLA (Android Sound Library Architecture).
Familiarity with signal processing concepts and techniques.
