We are a leading Commercial General Contractor seeking a Field Superintendent for our growing team. Preferably with Tenant Improvement experience.
Position Overview:
The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of a construction project. This individual will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure the successful completion of the project within budget and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage all construction activities on the project site
- Monitor and maintain project schedule, budget, and quality standards
- Communicate and collaborate with project team members, including project managers, subcontractors, and clients
- Review and approve construction plans, specifications, and drawings
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors and construction crews
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project
- Manage project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and payment requests
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being completed according to plans and specifications
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Experience in managing and coordinating subcontractors and construction crews
- In-depth understanding of safety regulations and procedures
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Willingness to work on a flexible schedule and travel to project sites as needed.
