Role: Robotics Controls Engineer
Location: Maryland Heights, MO
Salary: $80-130k DOE
We specialize in packaging and material handling machinery with a focus on remaining customer oriented. This position will join our Robotics division focusing on serving material handling, warehousing, distribution and fulfillment applications utilizing Fanuc robots.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will be able to easily program and maintain a variety of industrial automation equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, and Fanuc robots. Occasional travel will be required to startup and commissioning at customer facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain robotic systems and automation equipment
Maintain compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Develop and improve automation processes to increase efficiency
Program PLCs, HMIs, and robotic automation
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve robotic and automation issues
Analyze data to suggest process improvements
Create detailed designs for robotic systems and automation equipment
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical, Computer or Mechanical Engineering or related field
3+ years of experience in controls engineering and programming
Robotics experience with either ABB or Fanuc
Experience with PLC and HMI programming preferably with Allen Bradley or Siemens
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in teams
