Job Title: Paralegal
Job Location: Vero Beach, FL
Salary: $20-$30/hour DOE
Requirements: Paralegal, Probate, Trusts, Wills
- Conduct client interviews to gather information and understand their specific needs and goals in regards to probate and estate planning
- Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner, keeping them informed of the progress of their case
- Prepare clear and concise explanations of legal processes
- Assist in drafting and reviewing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other real estate planning documents
- Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with state and federal laws
- Prepare and file necessary probate court petitions
- Locate and inventory all estate assets, including real estate, financial accounts, and personal property
- Value estate assets to determine applicable taxes
- Manage creditor claims and settle debts
- Distribute to beneficiaries according to will or intestacy laws
- Assist the corporate law team with drafting and reviewing contracts, business formation documents, and other transaction documents
- 1+ years experience as a paralegal with relevant experience in probate, estate planning, trust distribution, and related
- Paralegal Certification is highly preferred
- Advanced writing skills
- Proficiency within drafting estate planning documents
- Corporate law experience
