Position Overview:
We are a 40 year company focused on producing high-end audio systems for home and commercial applications. Our software team is growing, and we are in need of a Principal Software Engineer with a background in Audio Systems specifically.
This role is hybrid / remote, and pay is between 150k-210k depending on experience and before bonus/benefits.
The Principal Software Engineer - Audio Systems will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of audio systems for our company. This role will require in-depth knowledge of Linux, RTOS, and embedded systems, as well as expertise in audio hardware and software development. The ideal candidate will have experience with low-level code and peripherals, as well as a strong understanding of codecs, amplifiers, debug tools, and troubleshooting. They will also be skilled in full-stack engineering, bus interfaces, software packages, and networked systems.
