Title: Occupational Health Nurse
Location: Janesville, Wi 53546
Salary: $100,000 - $135,000 + Relocation
Founded in 1965 we are the premier producer of truck & van bodies in the US. We specialize in the manufacturing of dry freight, custom cargo, refrigerated truck & platform van bodies with 14 manufacturing facilities across the US. Our facility in Janesville has the need for a licensed Occupational Health Nurse who can provide cost effective nursing services & programs to treat team members and improve overall health & wellness. This role will also be responsible for occasional travel / remote responsibility to our Florida, Georgia and Ohio plants as needed to facilitate healthcare services.
What You Will Be Doing
Conduct onsite treatment of injuries & evaluate physical condition of patient
Counsel team members on injury prevention & healthcare
Develop proactive health programs i.e. health education, accident prevention, abuse counseling etc.
Act as co-leader for our medical team including first responders & standardization of equipment
Work w/ our claims specialist as needed for claims management
Collect data on work related injuries & work w/ EHS Manager to determine root cause
Manage medical surveillance programs i.e. respirator, physical, audiometric, etc
Maintain current FA/CPR/AED certification
Travel every 5-6 weeks to our Georgia, Florida and Ohio locations
What You Need for this Position
Bachelors in Nursing required
Active RN License
5+ years of practical nursing experience (a plus if they are in manufacturing companies)
Ability to occasionally travel to our other facilities in Georgia, Florida & Ohio
Emergency medical care and/or pre-hospital experience
Knowledge of OSHA standards & injury/illness reporting
