Position Overview: The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process and ensuring efficient production through the use of engineering principles and techniques. You will also interpret CAD models and drawings to provide customer quotes using the data provided. This role requires a strong understanding of estimating, CAD, and manufacturing processes to ensure the highest quality products are being produced.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure efficient production
- Use CAD software to design and improve manufacturing equipment and processes
- Estimate project costs and timelines to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any production issues
- Conduct research and implement new technologies to improve manufacturing processes
- Monitor production metrics and make recommendations for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process
- Train and mentor production staff on new processes and equipment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in CAD software and other relevant tools
- Strong understanding of estimating, manufacturing, and machining techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards for manufacturing operations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
