Construction Superintendent

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent to oversee our construction projects and ensure that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard. The successful candidate will work closely with our project management team and contractors to ensure the smooth running of all construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the construction process, from planning to completion
• Ensure that all construction work is carried out to the required standard and within the agreed budget
• Monitor and report on progress to senior management and stakeholders
• Oversee the work of contractors and subcontractors, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively
• Manage the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring that they are delivered on time and to the required specification
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to on site
• Provide leadership and guidance to the construction team, promoting a positive and productive working environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field
• 5+ years of experience working in construction management, preferably in a supervisory role
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan and execute complex construction projects
• Knowledge of general contractor and superintendent duties and responsibilities
• Familiarity with shipping containers, welding, and fabrication
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
• Ability to manage and motivate a team of construction professionals
