On our team the Project Manager acts as the liaison between the customer, the office, and the field.
-Manage captured construction contracts from award through close out
- review contracts, create project schedule
- manage submittal process, work with internal partners, pull construction permits
- work with assigned project engineer to oversee the successful submission of operations and maintenance manuals
- support bidding and estimating efforts by attending pre-bid meetings and job walks. Assist with take offs and working with customers to put together successful proposals
- reporting progress and financial health of project
More than 5 years of experience and knowledge of all phases of construction management including:
- History of managing a variety of mechanical projects (HVAC and Plumbing)
- Union Experience
- Provide clear and articulate direction to team-members
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Experience with pre-construction, estimating RFIs, change orders, and submittals
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Navisworks, ProContractor, and Procore
- Sheet Metal and Piping experience
