Associate Attorney- Litigation/Bankruptcy Job Description

Founded in 1981, Our team's decades of experience span consumer and commercial litigation, federal and state regulatory matters, general business litigation, insolvency and bankruptcy litigation, business transactions and acquisitions, and compliance and corporate governance.

We are looking for an Associate Attorney to join our team!

Position Overview

The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling a variety of litigation and bankruptcy matters for our firm. This position requires a strong understanding of both litigation and bankruptcy laws, as well as the ability to handle a high volume of cases.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of litigation and bankruptcy matters from inception to resolution
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Appear in court for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the cases
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in litigation and bankruptcy
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in the state
Strong understanding of litigation and bankruptcy laws
Experience with commercial litigation is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle a high volume of cases and meet tight deadlines
