Title: Assistant Production Manager - Mon-Thurs
Location: Godfrey, IL 62035 (20 minutes north of St. Louis)
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 5:30am - 4:30pm

Founded in 2000 we are a 3,000+ employee primier player in the tire recycling industry that helps customers achieve their recycling goals. To date we account for nearly 50% of all recycled tires in North America through a network of facilties in the US & Canada. Our headcount has grown by 30% over the past 2 years primarily in business development & operations as we continue to expand our market share in the space. We have a facility in Godfrey that needs a strong Assistant Production Manager that will help lead the shift production team and ensure that our manufacturing processes continue to run smoothly.

What You Will Be Doing

Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies & procedures
Lead the shift production team to meet or exceed production targets
Notify Maintenance Technicians of any equipment issues promptly
Communicate effectively with all employees and record / track downtime root causes
Resolve personnel issues w/i the shift production team
Seek opportunities to improve equipment productivity & efficiency
Assist in organizing & managing raw materials / supplies required for production shifts
Maintain accurate records of hourly production & other relevant data

What You Need for this Position

5+ years of leadership experience in production w/i manufacturing environment
Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus
2+ years of experience operating material handling equipment
Understanding of OSHA regulations & commitment to implementing safety standards
